During surgeries we strive for maximum safety, that is why there is always a veterinarian monitoring the anaesthesia besides the one performing the planned surgery. S/he checks vital functions physically and produces a written documentation on them and on the settings of the anaesthetic machine and on the actual values of the patient monitor, as well.
